Healthcare platform company HealthHub Co., Ltd. announced on the 1st that it had won a contract for the AD (Alzheimer's Disease) video system in Gwangju Metropolitan City's project to build Asia's largest multi-modal dementia big data.
The project, which will be implemented by investing a total of 20 billion won, including 10 billion won from the national treasury, 4 billion won from the Gwangju Metropolitan City, and 6 billion won from the private sector, will provide and support an integrated management system across the entire cycle from the development of precision medical technology for dementia prediction, early diagnosis, prevention, and treatment based on dementia cohort big data, to product demonstration and technology commercialization.
The dementia cohort will establish a community-based elderly cohort and data collection system by Gwangju Metropolitan City, university hospital dementia precision examination centers (Chonnam National University Hospital, Chosun University Hospital), and the Gwangju Dementia Cohort Research Group, and provide dementia risk analysis and prediction information through the first examination (dementia risk group screening) and the second examination (dementia precision examination).
HealthHub Co., Ltd. plans to create high added value in the healthcare sector, a Gwangju-specialized industry, by combining AI technology with HealthHub‘s teleradiology platform 'DICOMLINK’ , which has the No. 1 market share in the domestic market.
DICOMLINK efficiently stores large-capacity medical images in the cloud, and allows medical institutions, remote reading institutions, and individuals to quickly receive the original images, and it is expected to reduce the error rate and increase patient convenience through data transmission between hospitals.
