HealthHub, a leading innovator in healthcare IT solutions, has announced the expansion of its strategic partnership with Ominext, a digital healthcare pioneer in Vietnam. The renewed agreement marks a significant milestone in both companies' efforts to accelerate digital transformation in Vietnam’s healthcare sector through the expanded deployment of HealthHub’s HPACS SaaS (Software as a Service) solution.
Building on their successful 2024 partnership for on-premise HPACS implementation in public hospitals, HealthHub and Ominext have now entered into a broader agreement to deliver HPACS SaaS across a wider range of healthcare institutions—including public, private, and general hospitals throughout Vietnam. The agreement was formally signed on June 20, 2025, by Gi-Poong Kim, CEO of HealthHub, and Do Van, Vice President of Ominext, underscoring their shared vision for future-oriented collaboration.
Since the initial contract in October 2024, the two companies have collaborated closely to navigate regulatory processes for deploying HPACS in public hospitals. Recognizing the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape and the growing need for scalable digital infrastructure, the expanded agreement reflects a joint strategic decision to introduce a cloud-based model that caters to a broader spectrum of healthcare providers.
HPACS SaaS drastically reduces the burden of initial infrastructure costs while maximizing operational efficiency and maintainability. With its superior scalability and flexibility, the solution enables healthcare institutions of various sizes across Vietnam to swiftly adapt to digital healthcare demands and build a stable environment for medical image management.
Product roll-out and deployment are expected to begin in earnest in the latter half of 2025, following anticipated regulatory approvals. Demonstrations are currently being scheduled with numerous major hospitals and clinics across Vietnam. The companies also emphasized that this SaaS expansion will lay the groundwork for establishing future teleradiology services - a strategic pillar for long-term growth in the region.
