HealthHub (CEO Kim Gi-poong), a medical imaging solution company, announced that it has been selected as a promising company to enter the overseas procurement market by the Public Procurement Service, and attended the G-PASS company designation ceremony held at the PPS Hall of the Seoul Public Procurement Service on the 20th.
The G-PASS (Government Performance ASSured) company designation system is a system in which the Public Procurement Service selects companies with high potential to enter the overseas procurement market and helps promising companies explore overseas markets and conduct business through various support policies utilizing the Public Procurement Service's overseas network.
As a G-PASS company, HealthHub will receive various benefits not only overseas but also in the domestic procurement market, and is expected to further strengthen its competitiveness in the global market through benefits such as expanded opportunities to participate in overseas procurement markets, use of the G-PASS mark, and financial support.
At the meeting held after the G-PASS designation ceremony, Kim Ki-pung, CEO of HealthHub, inquired about the problems of software aggregation, the expansion of the Public Procurement Service's software product procurement registration, and the role of the Public Procurement Service in the ODA business. In response, Lim Ki-geun, head of the Public Procurement Service, said that the agency will closely examine related issues and consult with relevant organizations to improve software export aggregation, and actively work to expand software procurement registration.
He also introduced the ODA project on tuberculosis in the Philippines organized by the Public Procurement Service, adding that the agency will work with relevant ministries such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and KOICA to actively participate in ODA projects in the future.
Founded in 2012, HealthHub is a company that specializes in developing medical image storage and transmission software (HPACS) and medical imaging solutions, and has strengths in developing software that incorporates AI technology and building a health information exchange (HIE) platform.
The company's efforts to expand its global market based on exporting software licenses to Indonesia, participating in the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), obtaining CE MDD certification, and registering international industrial property rights played an important role in its selection as a G-PASS company.
With the selection as a G-PASS company, HealthHub plans to provide high-quality medical imaging solutions to developing countries such as Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East based on its HIE technology and further strengthen its overseas market penetration.
In addition, the company evaluated that it has laid a bridgehead to enter the government procurement market in each country in earnest through cooperation with the Public Procurement Service.
