HealthHub's innovative HScan service was presented as a successful collaboration case with Jeju National University Hospital at the Korean Hospital Information Association's Spring Academic Seminar held from April 10th to 11th, 2025, receiving significant attention.
The HScan service, presented at this academic seminar, is an online service that resolves various issues of the existing offline CD issuance service and dramatically improves the process of medical image issuance and registration.
HealthHub has proven the excellence and efficiency of the HScan service through a pilot project with Jeju National University Hospital.
Key Features and Expected Benefits of the HScan Service
The HScan service pursues the simultaneous values of improved patient satisfaction, increased work efficiency, and environmental protection.
-
Improved Patient Satisfaction: Patients can conveniently apply for and receive medical images through the hospital's website or mobile phone without needing to revisit the hospital. Additionally, they can safely transmit their images to their attending physician, enhancing convenience in medical care.
-
Increased Work Efficiency: By introducing HScan, the costs and workload associated with CD issuance can be reduced, and new revenue can be generated through online automation. Furthermore, the efficiency of managing externally sourced images is increased, and communication between cooperating medical institutions is streamlined.
-
Environmental Protection: It contributes to achieving ESG management goals by reducing environmental pollution problems caused by CD production and disposal.
Pilot Project Results and Future Prospects
The pilot project with Jeju National University Hospital showed that the HScan service significantly improves user convenience. In particular, it is expected that the service utilization rate will increase by more than 14% when the user scope of the online image issuance and registration service is expanded, raising expectations for future service expansion.
HealthHub plans to widely publicize the innovativeness of the HScan service through this presentation at the Korean Hospital Information Association's Spring Academic Seminar and contribute to improving the quality of medical services through collaboration with more medical institutions.
